IPS Indradev Shukla, a 1995 batch has been made the DGP of Goa Province. He is originally from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He has given a message to the younger generation based on the moral values of his personal life. He said that the youth should not be disappointed in the absence. If you make constant efforts to achieve your goal by making moral values the basis in life, then you can be successful in every field in life.
Indradev Shukla, resident of Mallupur village of Kaptanganj police station area, is a 1995 batch IPS. His early education took place in the primary school located in the village which used to run in Mandal at that time. He did his high school and intermediate education from Terhl’s Inter College located in Kaptanganj Bazar. After this he went to Allahabad University and he got admission in science stream.
He passed B.Sc examination in first division. After this he also earned a degree with MSc Physics Specialization in Electronics. After that he appeared for the Civil Services Examination. Qualified the pre exam in the first exam but did not pass in the second exam. Despite this, he kept his spirits up. In 1995, he was selected in the Indian Administrative Service and joined the Goa Police Service. He was the SDPO in Goa and also the SP of Goa.
He was both SP in Mizoram, DIG and IG in Pondicherry. He also commanded IG Law and Order in Arunachal Pradesh. He was also the Deputy Director Administration and Crime in NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau). Apart from this, the joining director was CCTNS (Crime Criminal Tracking Network System).
He was posted in Delhi Police as Joint CP in Security. Presently he is posted as Special CP in the Protective Section Division of Delhi Police. The Ministry of Home Affairs has entrusted the command of the state of Goa as Director General of Police.
