Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the 2021 and 22 batches have been urged by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to work impartially and for the public good. In order to teach these officers how to collaborate with the department and the public, he also suggested that they be assigned to work for at least three months alongside Police Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police.
The Chief Minister stated that the probationary police officers should be required to learn about the operation of the police station, the circle’s coordination, and the police line during their meeting with him at his home on Tuesday.
He also said that progress requires strong law and order as well as security. It’s now widely acknowledged that Uttar Pradesh has the best law and order in the nation. As a result, Uttar Pradesh is receiving investments from all over the nation and the world. According to him, the key to an officer’s success is their ability to interact with the public. Conversation may overcome even the most formidable obstacles; the most crucial thing is for police officers to behave simply while interacting with the public.
The term of office for the new officers is 30 to 35 years. The chief minister stated that the final five to ten years of their career will be crucial and that they must always uphold their honesty.
