Ajit Pratap Singh, an IPS officer of 2012 batch and Tripura cadre, has been appointed as Assistant Director (SP level) in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Singh to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The officer had earlier served in various postings in Tripura. He was SP in West District and in Gomati. He also served as SP Serious Crime and Economic Offences and Commandant, TSR, 1st Bn.
