1987 batch senior IPS officer Sudhir Kumar Saxena has been repatriated to his cadre state, Madhya Pradesh. According to an order issued by the personnel ministry, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Saxena’s repatriation to his parent cadre with immediate effect. He is presently secretary (security), cabinet secretariat in central government.
News is spreading that Saxena is likely to become the director general of police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh soon. He will be given such big responsibility soon, sources said.
About Saxena
Sudhir Kumar Saxena is a Madhya Pradesh cadre and a 1987 batch IPS officer. He has held an important post like IG Intelligence in Madhya Pradesh in the past. In MP, he has also served as SP in Raigarh, Chhindwara, Ratlam, Jabalpur for almost years. Thereafter, he was transferred to the police headquarters in Bhopal, where he was made DIG. After this, due to central deputation, he was appointed to the CBI in the year 2002. Later, he joined CISF as an additional director on 22 June 2018, after that on 24 December 2020, he became a special director in CISF too.
