1986 batch IPS officer VSK Kaumudi has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat. He is presently serving as Special Secretary (Internal Security), Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post to Kaumudi with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
