IPS officer Hemant Nimbalkar has taken charge as the new Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department on Wednesday. An order regarding this has been issued by the state government on Tuesday.
He has earlier served as the Additional Commissioner (Admin.) of state police and as Inspector General of Police (IGP) Internal Security Division (ISD) Bengaluru.
