The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order of appointment of IPS Officer Simardeep Singh as DIG in National Security Guard (NSG). As per the notification 2007 batch IPS Officer from Haryana cadre is appointed for level-13A of pay matrix (DIG level) for the remaining period of his approved tenure in NSG or until a vacancy arises at the level of DIG in NSG. Mr. Singh is currently serving as the Group Commander, NSG.
