In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the police department of Odisha, the Naveen Patnaik led state government has transferred and posted several IPS officers, assigning them new tasks. Apart from this, many state police service officers has been reshuffled too.
The home department has issued the following transfer orders.
1994 batch IPS officer Sanjeeb Panda has been made the Commissioner of Police, Twin City, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack. He was Director Intelligence with additional charge of CMD, OPHWC.
1995 batch IPS officer Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi has been transferred and posted as Director, Intelligence. He was Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
2010 batch IPS officer Kanwar Vishal Singh has been made as DCP Cuttack in the rank of DIGP. He was DIG/SP, Puri.
2011 batch IPS officer Pinak Mishra, at present DCP Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as SP Puri.
1995 batch IPS officer Dr Santosh Bala, who is Special Secretary Home, is allowed to remain in his additional charge of CMD, OPHWC.
Himanshu Kumar Lai, an IPS officer of 2003 batch and IGP, E.R., Balasore, is transferred and posted as IGP, N.R., Sambalpur.
2004 batch IPS officer Dr. Deepak Kumar, at present IGP, N.R., Sambalpur, is transferred and posted as IG P, NCR, Talcher with additional charge of Principal PTC Angul.
Satyabrata Bhoi, also an IPS officer of 2004 batch and IGP, S.R., Berhampur, is transferred and posted as IGP, E.R., Balasore.
2005 batch IPS officer J N Pankaj, who is IGP, EOW, STF, is transferred and posted as IGP, S.R., Berhampur with Addl Charge of IGP, EOW, STF.
2011 batch IPS officer Banoth Jugal Kishore Kumar, at present AIGP, HQ, is transferred and posted SP, Kendrapada.
2012 batch IPS officer Madkar Sandeep Sampat, at present SP Kendrapada, has been posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
2014 batch IPS officer Vivekananda Sharma, at present SP, Rayagada, has been posted as AIGP, State Police HQ.
Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra , OPS, at present SP, Dhenkanal has been posted as SP, Special Branch, Bhubaneshwar.
Amaresh Kumar Panda, OPS, at present SP, Sonepur, has been posted as AIGP, State Police HQ.
P K Mishra, OPS, at present SP, Deogarh, has been posted as SRP, Rourkela.
Rama Prasad Sahoo, at present SP, Special Branch, has been posted as SP, Deogarh.
Harisha B C, at present SDPO, Jeypore, is transferred and posted as SP, Rayagada.
Yashpratap Shrimal, at present SDPO, Baliguda, is transferred and posted as SP, Sonepur, as per the notification.
