Rajasthan: 65 IPS Transferred Including SPs of 35 Dists, Preeti Chandra Posted as ACP in Jaipur

On 16 February, the government of Rajasthan carried out a massive reshuffling of as many as 65 IPS officers across the state, including DIGs and SPs.

The list features 2008 batch IPS officer and the incumbent DIG, Armed Battalion, Ms. Preeti Chandra who has been transferred as the Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Traffic and Administration in the Jaipur Commissionerate.

DIG, SOG, Yogesh Yadav (2009 batch), shall substitute her as the DIG, Armed Battalion. Dr. Vikas Pathak (2008 batch), the incumbent DIG of Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking, was transferred to the Personnel Department in Police Headquarters.  

In the same list, names of SPs from 35 districts were mentioned, including the SPs of Sikar, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bhiwadi, Dholpur, Anupgarh, and Udaipur. Shantanu Kumar Singh (2012 batch IPS), the incumbent SP in Jaipur Rural, was given additional charge of SP in Dudu. SP of Bhiwadi, Anil Kumar (2014 batch IPS), was given additional charge as SP of Khairthal Tijara.
