1991 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Rajender Kumar Upadhyay has been promoted to DGP grade.
Mr. Upadhyay’s promotion order was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 31 March with approval from the competent authority.
The promotion is effective from 01.06.2023 or from the date of charge assumption, whichever is earlier. The screening committee in its meeting on 27.02.2022 made a recommendation for promotion.
