1992 batch IPS Neera Rawat has been appointed as the new ADG of ‘UP 112’. She will replace IPS officer Ashok Kumar Singh, the 1999 batch IPS officer, who has been removed amid the demonstration of women employees on Dial 112 of UP.
While, DG Anand Kumar, an IPS officer of 1988 batch has bee posted in CBCID. He was serving as the Director General of Police, Cooperative Cell.
Its is worth mentioning here that for the last two days, women employees have been protesting demanding various demands including increase in salary.
Earlier, on the night of 26 and 27 October, IAS and PCS officers of many districts in Uttar Pradesh were changed. Nidhi Bansal (IAS 2020) Joint Magistrate Jhansi has been made CDO Sitapur. IS Akshat Verma has been made the new Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi. Whereas Pulkit Garg was made VC Varanasi Development Authority.
Shipu Giri, who was the Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi, was made the Special Secretary Higher Education. Satyaprakash was sent from Additional Commissioner Excise to the post of Municipal Commissioner Jhansi. Abhishek Goyal (IAS 2016) VC Varanasi Authority was made Special Secretary Food Logistics.
