IPS Officer Sarthak Sarangi Transferred as IGP, CID-CB in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Sarthak Sarangi, an IPS officer of 2007 batch from Odisha, has been transferred and appointed as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) – Crime Branch (CB) in the state.

The decision comes as part of a routine reshuffling within the state police department. As IGP, CID-CB, Sarangi will oversee critical investigations and lead efforts to strengthen law enforcement operations, focusing on combating crime and ensuring the safety and security of the public.

Sarangi, known for his leadership and dedication to public service, is expected to bring his wealth of experience and expertise to the CID-CB, a key unit in Odisha’s law enforcement structure.
