IPS Officers Sulochana Gajraj & Satendra Kumar Promoted To DIG

Senior IPS officers Sulochana Gajraj has been promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police. Ms. Gajraj is currently serving as SP in Bureau of Police Research and Development. She will continue serving in BPR&D as DIG. Her appointment was issued by the Ministry of Home affairs on Jan 10, 2024. Her tenure will be for five years. Ms. Gajraj is an IPS officer of 2010 batch and Haryana cadre.
Besides her, IPS Satendra Kumar, who was serving as SP, BPR&D, has also been promoted to DIG rank. Mr. Kumar, who is an IPS officer of 2010 batch and UP cadre, has now been posted as DIG, National Crime Records Bureau.
