New Delhi: IRCON International Limited received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Konkan Railway Corporation Limited for the maintenance contract. The order further strengthens IRCON’s presence in the specialised railway communication, infrastructure maintenance and systems management segment.
The company disclosed the contract to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
IRCON Wins ₹96.25 Crore Contract from Konkan Railway
The contract awarded by Konkan Railway Corporation Limited involves the comprehensive annual maintenance of the Integrated Tunnel Communication System installed in the Katra-Banihal section.

Scope of Work Covers Four Key Communication Systems
Under the contract, IRCON will undertake comprehensive maintenance of the Integrated Tunnel Communication System and its associated infrastructure across the specified railway section.
The scope of work includes the following systems:
- IP-Based Video Surveillance System: Maintenance of video surveillance infrastructure used for monitoring railway facilities.
- Public Address System: Maintenance of public address facilities used for announcements and communication at railway locations.
- Emergency Communication System: Maintenance of communication facilities designed to support communication during emergencies.
- Networking Backbone System: Maintenance of the networking infrastructure connecting the communication and surveillance systems.
The maintenance work will cover installations located in tunnels, bridges and railway stations across the Katra-Banihal section. The contract is intended to support the continued functioning and reliability of these railway communication systems over the five-year period.
IRCON Discloses Contract Details Under SEBI Regulations
IRCON International has informed the stock exchanges about the contract in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company has also clarified that the contract does not involve any interest of its promoter or promoter group. It does not fall under related-party transactions.
