New Delhi: Railway PSU IRCON International Ltd. has received a Letter of Award from Meghalaya Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Ltd (MIDFC), Shillong. The project involves the construction of Eklavya Model Residential Schools across eight locations in Meghalaya.
EPC Project to Strengthen Educational Infrastructure
The contract is on a Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis under Package-II. IRCON is tasked with completing the project within 36 months. The total project cost is Rs 510.46 crore. This initiative aims to enhance educational facilities and infrastructure in the state.
Supporting Meghalaya’s Infrastructure Development
MIDFC, a specialized entity, focuses on financial support for infrastructure projects in Meghalaya. IRCON’s execution of this order will significantly contribute to the state’s educational and social development initiatives.
