New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has appointed Mr. Navin Kumar Parsuramka as an Additional Director on its Board, designated as a Part-time Government Director, effective February 27, 2026. The appointment follows the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) Order dated February 25, 2026, and will continue until he vacates his position as Principal Executive Director (Coaching) at the Railway Board, or until further orders.

The Board of IRCTC approved the appointment during its meeting on February 27, 2026. Mr. Parsuramka joins the Board in a government nominee capacity, contributing his vast experience in Indian Railways to the strategic and operational oversight of the company.

Profile of Mr. Navin Kumar Parsuramka
Mr. Parsuramka is a 1992-batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) and currently serves as Principal Executive Director (Coaching) in the Ministry of Railways. He has over 30 years of experience across leadership roles including:
- Executive Director (Rates)
- Divisional Railway Manager, Ajmer
- Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), Delhi Division
He notably oversaw the national operational plan for Mahakumbh 2025, managing over 17,000 passenger trains and facilitating transport for more than 4.5 crore passengers while ensuring punctuality, safety, and passenger comfort. As DRM Ajmer, he led major infrastructure works, including doubling, gauge conversion, electrification, and extensive track renewals.
Compliance and Governance
IRCTC has confirmed that Mr. Parsuramka:
- Has not been debarred from holding a directorship by SEBI or any other authority
- Is not related to any existing Director or Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company
- Does not hold any equity shares in IRCTC
Additionally, Mr. Ram Mohan K (ACS 70766) and Mr. Vishal Bhatnagar (ACS 72629) have been designated as Deputy Company Secretaries to execute regulatory filings in the absence of Mr. Parsuramka.
