IREDA Board Strengthens Leadership, Appoints Pradipta Kumar Roy as Additional GM (Projects) – Know More About Him

New Delhi: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has announced the appointment of Pradipta Kumar Roy as Additional General Manager (Projects). The decision was approved by the Board of Directors, reinforcing the PSU’s leadership team in driving renewable energy growth.

A Seasoned Professional with Over Two Decades of Experience

Roy brings with him more than 23 years of professional experience, including expertise in project appraisal, financing, and renewable energy sector management. Since joining IREDA in 2017, he has contributed significantly to the organisation’s mission of accelerating India’s clean energy transition.

Academic Excellence and Professional Credentials

An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Roy holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also earned an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University. In addition, he has completed professional certifications in JAIIB and CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), further strengthening his technical and financial acumen.

Strengthening IREDA’s Leadership in Renewables

With his appointment, IREDA aims to further consolidate its project management and renewable energy financing capabilities. His experience and qualifications are expected to play a key role in supporting IREDA’s growing portfolio of clean energy projects across India.
