Vigilance Awareness Week 2025: IREDA CMD Pradip Kumar Das Administers Integrity Pledge to Employees

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 today with the administration of the Integrity Pledge by Mr. Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Ashok Kumar, Chief Technical Examiner, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The observance for this year is themed “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

CMD Highlights Importance of Vigilance

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Pradip Kumar Das emphasized that vigilance is critical for ensuring the sustainability of any organization and fostering a culture of ethical learning. He said, “Vigilance is essential not only for institutional growth in a disciplined manner but also for maintaining the health of the economy. IREDA has been consistently enhancing transparency through IT-driven systems and online operations.”

He further encouraged all employees to actively engage in the week-long observance from October 27 to November 2, which will include workshops, seminars, and competitions designed to reinforce the spirit of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization.

CVC Chief Appreciates IREDA’s Commitment

Mr. Ashok Kumar, Chief Technical Examiner, CVC, praised IREDA’s commitment to inclusive development and highlighted that vigilance is a shared responsibility of every employee. He reiterated the importance of adopting proactive measures to maintain transparency and accountability across all organizational functions.

Launch of Latest Edition of ‘Pahal’

On the occasion, the latest edition of IREDA’s in-house vigilance journal ‘Pahal’ was released by Mr. Pradip Kumar Das, CMD; Mr. Ashok Kumar, CTE, CVC; Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance); and Mr. Ajay Kumar Sahani, Chief Vigilance Officer. The event also saw participation from IREDA employees via a virtual platform, ensuring active engagement from across multiple locations.
