IRTS Lalit Bohra Appointed Nominee Director On Power Grid Board

Mr. Lalit Bohra is a 1998-batch IRTS officer who last served as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)

On June 18th, the Union Government appointed Mr. Lalit Bohra (1998-batch Indian Railway Traffic Service officer) as its Nominee Director on the Board of the Maharatna PSU Power Grid Corporation of India for a period till his superannuation or further orders, whichever transpires earlier. Officer Bohra had been serving as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

IRTS Bohra is an Electrical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and an MBA (Finance) from the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. Prior to his stint in the MNRE, he served as the Director General of the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE).
