MD Mugdha Sinha Highlights Importance of Cyber Security

Addressing the participants, ITDC Managing Director Mugdha Sinha, IAS, stressed that cyber security has become an essential pillar of India’s digital transformation.

She said that as digital technologies play a larger role in governance and public service delivery, cyber security must become an integral part of professional work culture.

According to her, building a cyber-aware and digitally resilient workforce aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a digitally empowered India, where every employee contributes to secure governance through awareness, vigilance, and responsible digital behaviour.

Prof. Amit Dubey Calls Employees the First Line of Defence

Speaking during the workshop, Prof. Amit Dubey highlighted that technology alone cannot protect organisations from cyber threats.

He said every employee plays a crucial role in strengthening cyber resilience through informed and responsible digital practices.

He emphasized that cultivating awareness, accountability, and vigilance among employees is one of the most effective ways to safeguard organisations against increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.

Building a Cyber-Aware Workforce
