The public sector enterprise recorded a significant 54 per cent quarter-on-quarter growth, underscoring improved operational momentum and strengthened business fundamentals.

28% Year-on-Year Growth Reflects Sustained Expansion

ITDC’s turnover during the quarter registered a 28 per cent increase compared to the corresponding period last year, reflecting steady year-on-year expansion.

  • Tighter cost controls
  • Focused emphasis on revenue-generating verticals
  • Stronger operational discipline

The numbers suggest that the corporation’s strategic recalibration is beginning to deliver measurable results.

Integrated Tourism Model Driving Performance

A major contributor to the improved performance has been ITDC’s integrated tourism model, enabling seamless operations across the entire tourism value chain.

ITDC’s diversified portfolio includes:

  • Hotels and hospitality services
  • Institutional and event catering
  • Travel and tour operations
  • Event management and MICE activities
  • Duty-free retail
  • Tourism infrastructure consultancy

This integrated approach has enhanced coordination across business segments, ensured service consistency, and strengthened ITDC’s position as a comprehensive tourism solutions provider.

High-Growth Segments Gain Momentum

During the quarter, several high-growth segments showed strong traction:

  • Event management
  • MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)
  • Destination weddings
  • Travel and tour services
  • Institutional catering

These verticals played a critical role in boosting revenue streams and reinforcing ITDC’s market positioning among institutional and corporate clients.

Technology-Led Transformation

Technology adoption emerged as a key pillar supporting growth. During Q3, ITDC continued investing in:

  • Digital platforms
  • Data analytics systems
  • Operational dashboards
  • Customer engagement tools

The move towards data-driven processes aims to improve decision-making speed, enhance customer experience, and create better operational visibility across verticals.

Leadership Perspective: Strategic Transformation & Sustainability

ITDC Managing Director Mugdha Sinha described the current phase as a significant milestone, coinciding with:

  • 60 years of ITDC’s journey
  • 70 years of The Ashok hotel

She emphasised that the corporation’s transformation strategy is anchored on:

  • Digital enablement
  • Asset optimisation
  • Sustainability initiatives

Alignment with national tourism objectives

Outlook: Positioned for Growth in Amrit Kaal

The strong quarter-on-quarter improvement reflects disciplined planning, sharper business alignment, and a shift towards personalised, integrated offerings.

With domestic and institutional tourism demand strengthening, and internal efficiencies improving, ITDC appears well-positioned to play a larger role in India’s evolving tourism and hospitality ecosystem during the ongoing Amrit Kaal phase.
