New Delhi: In a key development in public sector appointments, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Jatinderjit Singh Mann for the post of Director (Marketing) at MMTC Limited, a Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The selection meeting took place on September 8, with several senior PSU officials in the fray for the prestigious marketing leadership position.
Who is Jatinderjit Singh Mann?
Jatinderjit Singh Mann is currently serving as Additional General Manager (Marketing/Consultancy) and Head of RDSS-J&K at NTPC Limited, one of India’s largest power generation companies.
With significant experience in marketing, project management, and consultancy services, Mann emerged as the top candidate following a rigorous interview process conducted by PESB.

Several senior officials from leading PSUs were interviewed by the PESB panel, including:
- Sanjeev Singhal, Principal GM (Transmission), BSNL
- Sachindra Singh, Chief GM, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL)
- Manish Kumar Bainiwal, Chief GM, PEC Limited
- Pankaj Tripathi, Chief GM (Sales, Construction & Contract Manufacturing), SAIL
- Ashish Dave, Deputy GM, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)
What Happens Next?
Mann’s appointment as Director (Marketing), MMTC Limited, is subject to final approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
Once cleared, he will take charge of driving MMTC’s marketing and business development strategies, especially in key sectors such as metals, minerals, fertilizers, coal, hydrocarbons, and other bulk commodities.
