Following the transfer of 25 IPS officers in a major reshuffle, the government issued transfer orders to four more IPS officers on Thursday.
Sajeeth V J, a 2018 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for the Bengaluru Northeast division. This position became vacant after Laxmi Prasad was relieved of state duties for central deputation. Sajeeth V J was previously serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Koppal, deputed to the Karnataka Lokayukta.
M Puttamadaiah, a 2012 batch officer and formerly the SP of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Karnataka Lokayukta, has been transferred to Raichur as the district SP.
Yashoda Vantagodi, who was serving as the SP of Koppal, has been transferred to the Karnataka Lokayukta as SP.
In place of Yashoda Vantagodi, Lokayukta SP Ram L Arasiddi has been transferred and posted as the SP of Koppal.
