BENGALURU: The Karnataka government has transferred four officers across different departments, including IAS, IPS and IFS officers, as part of a fresh administrative reshuffle.
The changes affect the Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC), police administration, child protection services and the state forest department.
Gangu Bai Ramesh Manakar Moved to Welfare Board
Gangu Bai Ramesh Manakar, IAS, has been transferred from her position as Managing Director of the Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC).
She has been appointed Secretary of the Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The new assignment shifts her from the administration of the state’s small industries development corporation to the welfare administration of construction workers.

Ravi D. Channannavar Left Awaiting Posting
Ravi D. Channannavar, IPS, has also been transferred in the latest reshuffle.
Following the transfer, he has been left awaiting a fresh posting.
No new assignment has been specified for the IPS officer in the order.
Nisha James Gets Child Protection Assignment
Nisha James, IPS, has been transferred from her position as Superintendent of Police (Intelligence).
She has been appointed Director of the Integrated Child Protection Scheme.
The new responsibility places the IPS officer in charge of an important area of child protection and welfare administration.
Prashanth P.K.M. Moves to Forest Headquarters
Prashanth P.K.M., IFS, has also been transferred.
He has been moved from his position as Managing Director of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) and appointed Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), Forest Headquarters.
The latest posting brings the IFS officer back into the state’s forest administration after his tenure as head of KSDL.
Four Officers Shifted Across Key Departments
The four transfers cover a range of administrative responsibilities, from industrial development and labour welfare to policing, child protection and forest administration.
With Gangu Bai Ramesh Manakar moving to the Construction Workers Welfare Board, Nisha James taking charge of the Integrated Child Protection Scheme and Prashanth P.K.M. returning to Forest Headquarters, the reshuffle changes the responsibilities of officers across several departments.
