Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has issued a fresh transfer order involving three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, bringing changes to senior administrative assignments in the state.
The reshuffle includes changes involving the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the Department of Global Investment Non-Resident Indian Affairs, North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) and the Chikkamagluru Zilla Panchayat.
Nakul S.S. Gets Concurrent Charge
Nakul S.S., IAS (KN:2010), who is serving as Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given the concurrent charge of Secretary, Department of Global Investment Non-Resident Indian Affairs.
He will hold the additional responsibility alongside his existing assignment as Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Keertana H.S. Appointed NWKRTC Managing Director
Keertana H.S., IAS (KN:2020), has been transferred from her present position as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Chikkamagluru.
She has been posted as Managing Director of the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), Hubballi.
The appointment shifts her from district-level administration in Chikkamagluru to the leadership of a major state transport corporation.
Meenakshi Arya Moves to Chikkamagluru
Meenakshi Arya, IAS (KN:2023), who was serving as Assistant Commissioner, Mangaluru Sub-Division, Dakshina Kannada district, has also been transferred.
She has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Chikkamagluru, succeeding Keertana H.S.
The latest changes thus involve three IAS officers from the 2010, 2020 and 2023 batches and bring corresponding changes in the state Secretariat, transport administration and district-level governance.
