The Union Territory administration in Ladakh has announced the transfer and new assignments for an IPS officer and two JKPS officers. Altaf Ahmad Shah, who was awaiting placement, has been appointed as the Commandant of the IRP-25 Battalion. He will also take on the additional responsibility of SSP Traffic for the UT of Ladakh, relieving Shruti Arora, SP Leh, of her interim duties as Commandant IRP-25 Battalion. Additionally, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, Deputy Commandant of the IRP-25 Battalion, has been relieved from his additional role as SP Traffic, UT of Ladakh.
In other changes, Stanzin Nurboo, previously serving as AIG of Police (Personnel) at PHQ Ladakh, has been reassigned as AIG of Police (Provision) at the same office. Meanwhile, Sonam Dechen, who held the AIG of Police (Provision) position, will now take on the role of AIG of Police (Personnel) at PHQ Ladakh.
