Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening district administration, Lucknow District Magistrate Vishakh G. Iyer has transferred five Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and assigned fresh responsibilities to several newly joined IAS and PCS officers.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of IAS Sahil Singh as the new SDM Sadar, while PCS Manoj Singh has been transferred to Malihabad. Officers joining from other districts and departments have also been entrusted with important administrative assignments.
IAS Sahil Singh Takes Charge as SDM Sadar
Among the key changes, IAS Sahil Singh, who was serving as SDM Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT), has been appointed as the SDM of Sadar, replacing PCS Manoj Singh.
Manoj Singh, who had been handling the Sadar subdivision, has now been transferred as SDM Malihabad.
Fresh Responsibilities for Newly Joined Officers
The district administration has also accommodated officers who recently joined from other districts and departments.
PCS Akash Singh, who joined from the Lucknow Municipal Corporation, has been posted as SDM BKT, replacing IAS Sahil Singh.
Meanwhile, PCS Abhishek Kumar Singh, who was serving as Sadar SDM in Prayagraj, has been appointed SDM Sarojini Nagar.
Another PCS officer, Akash Singh, who was transferred from Manjhanpur (Kaushambi), has been posted as SDM Mohanlalganj.
Additional Administrative Changes
The reshuffle also includes changes in the Additional City Magistrate (ACM) setup.
PCS Ankit Shukla, who was serving as SDM Sarojini Nagar, has been posted as ACM-5.
Newly joined PCS Ramdev has been assigned the charge of ACM-1, while PCS Pradeep Kumar has been appointed ACM-3.
