New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The meeting focused on India’s vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047”, with discussions on human capital, employment generation, healthcare, and inclusive development.
CM Yadav highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts toward good governance, innovation, industrial growth, and public welfare.
Madhya Pradesh Contributing to Viksit Bharat Vision
The Chief Minister said Madhya Pradesh is actively contributing to the national development goal by focusing on:

He emphasized that the state is steadily moving forward with a balanced development approach.

Post-Naxal Development Push in Affected Regions
CM Yadav informed that Madhya Pradesh has successfully eliminated Naxal influence ahead of the central government’s target timeline.
He said development work will now be accelerated in previously affected regions with a special focus on:
- Youth empowerment and skill development
- Women and girl child upliftment
- Improved healthcare and education facilities
- Agricultural development and farmer welfare
Major Focus on Healthcare, Education and Skills
The Chief Minister highlighted key ongoing initiatives in the state:
- Expansion of new medical colleges to improve healthcare access
- Successful operation of Ayushman Bharat scheme
- Strengthening of Arogya Mandirs for primary healthcare
- Implementation of PM SHRI Colleges for higher education reform
- Skill development programmes linked with industrial needs
These efforts aim to create a future-ready workforce in the state.
Industrial Growth and PM MITRA Park in Dhar
CM Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is rapidly advancing in industrial development.
Key highlight:
- Establishment of India’s first PM MITRA Park in Dhar district
- Rapid preparation for industrial units to begin operations
- Strong push towards textile and manufacturing ecosystem
He added that the state is also promoting industrialization and job creation through skill development initiatives.
River Linking and Infrastructure Development
The Chief Minister said preparations are underway for river linking projects to improve irrigation and water availability across regions.
He also mentioned that industrial and infrastructure development is being aligned with long-term economic growth and sustainability goals.
Welfare Projects and Environmental Action
CM Yadav highlighted the safe disposal of waste from the Bhopal Union Carbide factory site, calling it an important step toward environmental safety and public welfare.
He said the government is continuously launching new initiatives focused on public health, environmental protection, and social welfare.
