Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years of leadership at the Centre, calling him the “hero of the world’s largest democracy” and a symbol of service-oriented governance for India’s poor.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while participating in a religious programme at Gufa Temple in Bhopal, where he attended a Hanuman Chalisa recitation and prayer ceremony dedicated to national welfare and leadership.
PM Modi Celebrated for Longest-Ever Democratic Leadership Record
Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has created history by serving the longest continuous tenure as the elected head of government in independent India.
He described this milestone as a moment of national pride, stating that PM Modi has worked with dedication for public welfare and national development.
Welfare Schemes Reaching Crores of Citizens
The Chief Minister highlighted major welfare initiatives under the Modi government, stating that:
- 25 crore people have been provided housing support
- 80 crore citizens are receiving free food grains
He said these schemes have helped millions move out of poverty and live with dignity.
According to him, the government has strengthened both internal security and border defence, while also empowering the Indian Armed Forces.
Tribute at Gufa Temple During Hanuman Chalisa Programme
CM Yadav attended the Hanuman Chalisa and prayer ceremony at Gufa Temple, where he offered prayers and participated in devotional recitations.
After the programme, he addressed the public alongside local leaders, including MP Alok Sharma and Ravindra Yati, along with other representatives.
“New Era of Development and National Confidence”
CM Yadav said that India is witnessing a new era of confidence and resolve under PM Modi’s leadership. He compared the current governance approach with the ideals of “Ram Rajya,” emphasizing safety, cultural values, and welfare of all citizens.
He further stated that PM Modi’s leadership reflects principles of duty and action, inspired by the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir as Symbol of Cultural Revival
Highlighting cultural achievements, the Chief Minister referred to the construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, saying it represents India’s spiritual resurgence.
He added that devotees from across the world are visiting Ayodhya to seek blessings of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman.
“Development with Security and Welfare Together”
CM Yadav stated that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has demonstrated progress in both citizen welfare and national security.
He emphasized that the government is working on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, ensuring inclusive development for all sections of society.
MP Receiving Continuous Support from Centre
Local MP Alok Sharma also praised the Prime Minister, stating that India has achieved remarkable progress in governance, infrastructure, digital innovation, and self-reliance under his leadership.
He added that Madhya Pradesh continues to receive consistent support and guidance from the Central government for development initiatives.
