Mahanagar Gas Limited Launches Project PRISM, First Salesforce Implementation in India’s City Gas Distribution Sector

Mumbai: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), a leading natural gas distribution company in India, has successfully launched Phase 1 of its Salesforce implementation under the banner of ‘Project PRISM’. This milestone makes MGL the first City Gas Distribution (CGD) company in the country to adopt and implement the Salesforce platform, aiming to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and ensure greater transparency through advanced digital solutions.

Project PRISM Revolutionizes Customer Experience and Operations

Phase 1 of Project PRISM includes the rollout of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Collect360 app, meter reading app, and five operations and maintenance (O&M) applications. These tools lay a robust foundation for digital customer engagement and operational excellence. Consumers can now enjoy a simpler, faster, and more transparent service process, marking a significant leap forward in MGL’s digital transformation journey.

Senior management representatives from Salesforce and Appstrail joined MGL in celebrating the successful go-live event. They expressed enthusiasm about advancing to Phase 2 of Project PRISM, which will introduce additional customer-focused features and innovative solutions to further enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
