State-owned Engineers India Limited (EIL) has announced the appointment of Mahesh Kumar Goyal as a Non-Official Independent Director on its Board for a period of three years.
The appointment has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), as communicated by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas through a letter dated May 9, 2025. The appointment takes effect from the date of communication or until further orders, whichever is earlier, the company stated in a stock exchange filing.

Engineers India Ltd, a premier public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, was established in 1965 to provide indigenous technology and engineering consultancy services, primarily for hydrocarbon projects. Goyal’s inclusion on the Board is expected to further strengthen EIL’s strategic direction and governance.
