Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle In Andhra: IAS Manazir Samoon Made Municipal Commissioner, Vijayawada

On July 2nd, the government of Andhra Pradesh mandated a significant bureaucratic reshuffle by transferring as many as 13 IAS officers.

Mr. Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar (2016 batch), last posted as the Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner (VMC), was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Srikakulam, replacing Mr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon (2012 batch), who was posted as VMC Commissioner.

Mr. A Shyam Prasad, last posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate in the Palnadu district, was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Parvathipuram-Manyam replacing Mr. Nishant Kumar ().

Officer Vijaya K. (2013 batch) was posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Anakapalli while Mr. Pattanshetti Ravi Subash (2013 batch) was made Director of the Department of Social Welfare.

Mr. Mahesh Kumar Ravirala (2016 batch) assumed charge as Collector and District Magistrate of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema. Mr. Himanshu Shukla (2013 batch) became the Secretary of the APSWREIS.

Mr. P. Arun Babu () was asked to assume office as the Collector and District Magistrate of Palnadu replacing Mr. Lathkar Srikesh Balajirao (2011 batch).

Mr. Anand O. (2016 batch), last posted as Joint Commissioner (CT) of Visakhapatnam, was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Nellore.

Mr. M. Hari Narayanan (2011) became the Joint Commissioner (CT) of Visakhapatnam. Mr. Venkateswar Salijamala, last posted as Director in Secondary Health, was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Tirupati, relieving the incumbent Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate from full additional charge.

Mr. Sridhar Chamakuri (IAS) was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Annamayya district, while Officer Muttimbaku Abhishikth Kishore (2015 batch) was posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate at Bapatla.

Mr. Siva Sankar Lotheti (2013 batch) was appointed Collector and District Magistrate of YSR district. Officer Chetan T.S (2016 batch) last posted as Managing Director of A.P. Beverages Corporation, was posted as Collector and District Magistrate in the Sri Sathya Sai district.

Ms. B. Raja Kumari, presently posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate in Guntur, was made Collector and District Magistrate of Nandyal. Officer K. Sreenivasulu (2015 batch) became the Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of Guntur district.
