New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence has appointed IAS officer Meera Mohanty as Government Nominee Director on the Board of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) with effect from September 17, 2026.
MIDHANI informed the stock exchanges about the appointment through a disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

With the appointment of Meera Mohanty, the tenure of Prakash Rajpurohit, Joint Secretary (DIP), as Government Nominee Director on the MIDHANI Board has ceased.
His tenure ended on September 17, 2026, the same date on which Mohanty took charge.
