New Delhi: In a key development towards enhancing India’s counter-unmanned aerial systems (CUAS) capabilities, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a ₹46.19 crore supply order to Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited (BSE: PARAS).

The order pertains to Anti-Drone Systems, including drone jammers, with a tentative execution timeline set for March 2026, according to the company’s filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today.

Details of the Order

  • Client: Ministry of Defence, Government of India
  • Supplier: Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd.)
  • Order Value: Approx. ₹46.19 crore (inclusive of GST)
  • Product Supplied: Anti-Drone Systems, primarily Drone Jammers
  • Execution Deadline: March 2026 (tentative)

In its BSE filing, the company confirmed:

“Paras Anti-Drone, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited, has received an order from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India valued at approximately ₹46.19 crore (inclusive of GST) for Anti-Drone Systems such as Drone Jammers.”

Strategic Importance of the Deal

This order marks another significant milestone for Paras Defence, a key player in India’s growing defence manufacturing ecosystem under the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) initiative. With growing threats from hostile drones and UAVs, particularly along sensitive border areas and strategic installations, the deployment of indigenous anti-drone systems is critical.

Drone jammers are used to disrupt and neutralize enemy drones by blocking their GPS or radio signals, rendering them inoperable.

Delivery Timeline & Forward Outlook

The systems are to be delivered by March 2026, though the deadline is currently marked as tentative. Successful execution could open doors for further procurement, considering India’s rising focus on indigenous defence production and CUAS capabilities.

With this contract, Paras Defence further cements its standing as a preferred private-sector supplier to India’s defence forces.
