Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met agriculture ministers and foreign delegates participating in the BRICS international conference held in Indore. The event brought together global representatives in India’s industrial capital, where the Chief Minister extended a formal welcome on behalf of the state.

The meeting highlighted India’s growing engagement with BRICS nations in the agriculture sector, with a focus on strengthening international cooperation and knowledge sharing.

To honor the visiting dignitaries, the state government hosted a special dinner reception in Indore. The event was attended by senior political leaders, government officials, and international representatives.

Delegates from BRICS countries witnessed performances based on:

  • Traditional folk arts of Madhya Pradesh
  • Regional cultural expressions and spiritual themes
  • Historical heritage and tourism landmarks of the state

The performances were well received by international guests, who appreciated the diversity and cultural depth of the presentations.

CM Highlights “Agriculture Year” Vision and Global Cooperation

During the event, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that the government organized the reception as part of efforts to strengthen global cooperation in agriculture.

He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is expanding international partnerships and leveraging mutual strengths among nations.

The Chief Minister also noted that the year has been dedicated as “Agriculture Year,” making the BRICS agriculture ministers’ meeting especially significant for future policy collaboration.

Commitment to “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” Philosophy

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated India’s traditional philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), stressing the importance of collaboration among participating nations.

He said Madhya Pradesh aims to strengthen partnerships with global stakeholders and promote coordinated efforts in agriculture, innovation, and sustainable development.

The BRICS agriculture ministers’ visit to Indore marked an important step in enhancing India’s global agricultural diplomacy. The event combined high-level political engagement with cultural diplomacy, showcasing Madhya Pradesh as both a policy hub and a cultural powerhouse.

The successful hosting of the event further reinforced the state’s growing role in international cooperation and agricultural development initiatives.
