Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Urges Citizens to Join Online Yoga Session Ahead of International Yoga Day 2026

CM appeals for mass participation in Ayush Ministry’s June 14 yoga session and promotes ‘Har Ghar Yoga’ campaign for a Guinness World Record and healthier lifestyle.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has appealed to citizens across the state to actively participate in a special online yoga session being organized by the Ministry of Ayush on June 14 ahead of International Yoga Day 2026.

He also encouraged people to adopt yoga as a daily lifestyle practice and contribute to the “Har Ghar Yoga” initiative aimed at setting a Guinness World Record.

Special Online Yoga Session on June 14

The Ministry of Ayush will conduct a special online yoga session on June 14 from 6:30 AM to 7:35 AM as part of the countdown to International Yoga Day 2026.

The Chief Minister urged participation from:

  • Youth
  • Women
  • Senior citizens
  • Students
  • Government employees
  • Social organizations

He emphasized that such initiatives help build a healthier and more aware society.

Yoga as India’s Ancient Knowledge Tradition

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that yoga is an invaluable part of India’s ancient knowledge system, which has guided the world toward a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, International Yoga Day has become a global movement promoting wellness and harmony.

‘Har Ghar Yoga’ and Guinness World Record Initiative

The Chief Minister appealed to citizens to actively support the “Har Ghar Yoga – Har Vyakti Nirog” campaign, which aims to:

  • Promote yoga in every household
  • Encourage daily practice of yoga
  • Contribute to a Guinness World Record attempt

He said the initiative aligns with the vision of a healthy Madhya Pradesh and a developed India.

The state government’s appeal ahead of International Yoga Day 2026 focuses on mass participation, wellness awareness, and making yoga an integral part of daily life for all citizens.
