Sehore: On Saturday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the foundation for six new industrial units in Sehore’s Badiyakhedi industrial area, with a combined investment of approximately ₹1,600 crore. This initiative is expected to create thousands of jobs and significantly contribute to the industrial growth of Madhya Pradesh.
During the event, CM Yadav handed over land allotment letters to the entrepreneurs and expressed his best wishes. He remarked, “Once you connect with Madhya Pradesh, it becomes a lifelong relationship.”
Major Announcements and Incentives
- The CM announced a subsidy of ₹30 crore on investments worth ₹100 crore in the state.
- A government grant of ₹10 lakh will be provided for establishing gaushalas (cow shelters) costing ₹40 lakh.
- To encourage employment generation, the government is offering various concessions including electricity, water, and land subsidies to industrialists setting up employment-oriented factories.
- Workers employed in these industries will receive monthly incentives for up to 10 years — ₹6,000 for women and ₹5,000 for men.

Agriculture and Rural Development Initiatives
- To benefit farmers in Sehore, the government plans to initiate a purchase scheme for one lakh metric tons of vegetables, expected to assist over two lakh farming families.
- A power transfer unit will be established in the district, which is anticipated to open new employment opportunities.
- The government will set up ‘Vrindavan Grams’ in every block to boost dairy production.
- An MoU is being signed with the National Dairy Development Board to purchase cow milk.

- CM Mohan Yadav announced that Sehore, along with regions like Dewas, Ujjain, and Sonkatch, will play a crucial role in the development of the Bhopal and Indore metropolitan areas.
- A state-level agriculture fair will be held in Sehore from October 12 to 14, 2025, attracting farmers, agricultural experts, and industrialists from across the country.

Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s continuous development across sectors, the CM reiterated the government’s focus on empowering women and girls through various schemes. He stressed that the state government is committed not only to providing special concessions to industrialists establishing employment-generating units but also to offering monthly financial incentives to male and female employees.
