Bhopal: Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, met a delegation from Hockey India in Bhopal to discuss plans for strengthening hockey infrastructure and promoting the state as an international hockey destination.

The meeting took place at Samatva Bhavan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal.

Madhya Pradesh Plans to Become a Global Hockey Centre

During the discussion, CM Mohan Yadav said the state government is committed to transforming Madhya Pradesh into a global hub for hockey.

He emphasized that the government is focusing on:

The delegation held positive discussions with the state government regarding collaboration on sports infrastructure and athlete development.

The Madhya Pradesh government aims to position the state as a leading sports destination by hosting major hockey events and improving training ecosystems.

Officials believe that strengthening sports infrastructure can help create more opportunities for youth while enhancing the state’s presence in Indian and international hockey.
