Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Police team recently competed at the All India Police Games 2025 (AIPG 2025) held from 13 to 17 October in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
In this national-level event under the aegis of the All India Police Sports Control Board, police teams from across India took part in disciplines including weightlifting, powerlifting and yogasana.
The gold medal came from Constable Bhim Shankar of Mandsaur district who won the 105 kg powerlifting category.
In the yoga category: Babli Khakre (Indore Crime Branch) won bronze, while Sub-Inspector Poonam Sharma secured silver in traditional yogasana.
