NALCO Signs MoU with Balmer Lawrie for Online Air Ticket Booking and Operational Efficiency

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move towards tech-enabled operational efficiency, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. for the implementation of the Standard Self Booking Tool (SSBT) to streamline official air ticket booking and cancellation processes.

The initiative is aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness, transparency, and operational efficiency for official travel within the organization.

Streamlining Air Travel for Efficiency

The MoU ensures that NALCO employees can book, manage, and cancel official air tickets online, minimizing manual intervention and delays. By adopting the SSBT platform, the company expects to improve travel management efficiency, reduce processing time, and achieve significant cost savings.

Senior officials from NALCO and Balmer Lawrie attended the signing ceremony, emphasizing the importance of integrating digital solutions into corporate travel management.
