New Delhi: State-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Limited has secured work orders worth approximately Rs 775.27 crore from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for major redevelopment projects in the national capital. The contracts, awarded in the normal course of business, cover comprehensive redevelopment of DDA staff quarters at two prime locations: Old Rajinder Nagar and Safdarjung Development Area (SDA).
Project Details and Financials
The Old Rajinder Nagar redevelopment project is valued at around Rs 437.79 crore, while the Safdarjung Development Area project is estimated at Rs 337.48 crore. Both contracts are for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services, and marketing fees will be determined later.
The redevelopment projects will follow a self-sustainable model, in which a portion of the developed built-up area (BUA) will be monetized to fund the construction. The remaining area will be handed over to DDA for staff housing, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project execution.
