NBCC to Construct ₹47.80 Crore Eco-Friendly Kendriya Vidyalaya Khajuri Khas Campus in Delhi

New Delhi: The Bhoomi Poojan ceremony for the permanent campus of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Khajuri Khas, Delhi, was held in the presence of Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister of NCT of Delhi, along with senior officials and dignitaries.

The new campus is set to significantly strengthen school infrastructure in the national capital and provide modern, sustainable learning facilities for students in the region.

₹47.80 Crore School Infrastructure Project

The construction of the permanent campus has been entrusted to NBCC (India) Limited at an estimated cost of ₹47.80 crore.

Key Project Highlights:

  • Total Built-Up Area: 8,725 square metres
  • Student Capacity: Approximately 1,520 students
  • Green Building Certification: 4-Star GRIHA Rating
  • Design Focus: Eco-friendly and energy-efficient infrastructure

The project aims to create a state-of-the-art academic environment equipped with modern facilities while adhering to sustainable construction practices.

  • Sustainable material usage
