New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a Government of India enterprise, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the construction of the new AP Bhavan in New Delhi on a turnkey basis.
The project marks a significant step in strengthening state infrastructure in the national capital.
Turnkey Construction of AP Bhavan
Under the agreement, NBCC will be responsible for the complete turnkey development of the new Andhra Pradesh Bhavan. This includes:
- Architectural design and planning
- Construction and execution
- End-to-end project delivery
The upcoming facility will serve as the official state guest house of Andhra Pradesh in New Delhi, providing accommodation and administrative support for state officials and visitors.

Key Officials Present at Signing Ceremony
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both sides, including:
- Dr. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), NBCC (India) Limited
- Arja Srikanth, Residential Commissioner, AP Bhavan
The agreement reflects continued collaboration between central public sector enterprises and state governments for infrastructure development.
Strengthening State Presence in the Capital
The new AP Bhavan is expected to enhance Andhra Pradesh’s institutional presence in New Delhi. It will function as a modern facility for:
- State government administration
- Official guest accommodation
- Coordination of government-related activities
Officials said the project will be executed with a focus on quality, efficiency, and timely completion.
