A Unique Defence Museum Open to Civilians
‘Trishul – Indian Defence Museum’ is among the few defence museums in India developed outside cantonment (military) areas for public access.
Its key highlight is its interactive format, where visitors can:
- View original military equipment such as weapons, tanks, and fighter jets
- Experience immersive laser shows
- Watch theatrical presentations depicting military operations and war stories
The objective is to provide an engaging experience that connects civilians with the Indian Armed Forces.

Built in Just 11 Months at a Cost of ₹31 Crore
According to Municipal Commissioner Divyanshu Patel, the foundation of the project was laid with inspiration from the Prime Minister and Chief Minister, marking the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
The project was completed in a record time of 11 months at an estimated cost of ₹31 crore, making it one of the fastest-developed heritage defence museums in the region.
Highlight Features: Bunkers, Trenches, and Immersive Warfare Experience
The museum features reconstructed bunkers and trenches to help visitors, especially young students, understand how soldiers defend the nation in extreme conditions.
Modern technology has been used to recreate battlefield scenarios, including:
- Laser-based war simulations
- Advanced theatre systems showcasing military traditions and operations
- Realistic displays of combat environments
Bridging the Gap Between Citizens and the Armed Forces
