New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Mr. Ashutosh Gautam for the post of Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited, marking a key leadership decision for the state-owned construction and infrastructure company.
The selection was made during a meeting held on June 16, 2026, in New Delhi.
Selected from 12 Senior Candidates
Mr. Ashutosh Gautam was selected after interviews of 12 senior executives from leading public sector undertakings.
He is currently serving as:
- Member (Technical), Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI)
The selection process included experienced officials from organizations such as NBCC, IRCON, RVNL, Engineers India Limited, BSNL, CONCOR, NSIC, and others.

Final Approval Pending from ACC
The recommendation will now be forwarded to:
- Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs
- Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC)
Final approval is required before Mr. Gautam formally assumes charge of the position.
