NBCC Q1 FY27 Results: Net Profit Rises 32% to ₹150.65 Crore, ₹0.15 Interim Dividend Declared 

NBCC declares Rs 0.15 interim dividend per share with August 17 as the record date and approves an in-principle plan to set up a REIT SPV.

Mumbai: NBCC (India) Limited reported a 32% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit to ₹150.65 crore in the first quarter of FY 2026-27. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹0.15 per share and approved an in-principle proposal to incorporate a wholly-owned SPV for a proposed REIT.

New Delhi, August 11, 2026: NBCC (India) Limited has reported strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY 2026-27. The company’s standalone net profit increased 32% YoY to ₹150.65 crore from ₹114.08 crore in Q1 FY26.

The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on August 11, 2026, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The results were earlier recommended by the Audit Committee. The Board meeting commenced at 12:30 PM and concluded at 3:00 PM.

NBCC Q1 FY27 Standalone Results

NBCC’s standalone revenue from operations increased 10% YoY to ₹1,823.04 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹1,656.77 crore in Q1 FY26.

Total income rose 9% to ₹1,867.99 crore from ₹1,713.35 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Profit before tax increased 32.1% YoY to ₹202.27 crore from ₹153.13 crore, while net profit rose 32% to ₹150.65 crore.

Basic EPS stood at ₹0.56, compared with ₹0.42 in Q1 FY26, registering a 33.3% increase.

Key standalone financial figures:

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹1,823.04 crore, up 10% YoY
  • Total Income: ₹1,867.99 crore, up 9% YoY
  • Profit Before Tax: ₹202.27 crore, up 32.1% YoY
  • Net Profit: ₹150.65 crore, up 32% YoY
  • Basic EPS: ₹0.56, up 33.3% YoY

Consolidated Financial Performance

At the consolidated level, NBCC’s revenue from operations declined 5.6% YoY to ₹2,259.53 crore from ₹2,392.49 crore in Q1 FY26.

  • Total income stood at ₹2,320.90 crore, compared with ₹2,465.49 crore a year ago, marking a 5.9% decline.
  • Despite the decline in revenue, consolidated profit before tax increased 17.3% YoY to ₹212.79 crore from ₹181.45 crore.
  • Net profit attributable to owners rose 17.2% to ₹154.83 crore from ₹132.13 crore. Basic EPS increased 16.3% to ₹0.57 from ₹0.49.

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹2,259.53 crore, down 5.6% YoY
  • Total Income: ₹2,320.90 crore, down 5.9% YoY
  • Profit Before Tax: ₹212.79 crore, up 17.3% YoY
  • Net Profit attributable to owners: ₹154.83 crore, up 17.2% YoY
  • Basic EPS: ₹0.57, up 16.3% YoY

NBCC Declares ₹0.15 Interim Dividend

The Board declared the first interim dividend of ₹0.15 per equity share for FY 2026-27.

The dividend represents 15% of the face value of ₹1 per equity share. NBCC has fixed August 17, 2026, as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive the dividend.

The dividend payment will be made in accordance with the timelines prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013.

Interim dividend details:

  • Dividend: ₹0.15 per share
  • Face value: ₹1 per share
  • Dividend rate: 15%
  • Record date: August 17, 2026

Final Dividend of ₹0.46 Per Share Recommended

The Board also recommended a final dividend of ₹0.46 per paid-up equity share for FY 2025-26.

The record date for the final dividend has been fixed as August 28, 2026. The recommendation is subject to approval by shareholders at the upcoming 66th Annual General Meeting.

NBCC Approves REIT SPV Proposal

In another key decision, the Board granted in-principle approval for the incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary that will act as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for activities related to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

The proposed SPV will be subject to necessary approvals from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and DIPAM. The move is aimed at unlocking value from NBCC’s real estate assets and supporting its expansion in the real estate sector.

PMC Segment Remains Key Growth Driver

The Project Management Consultancy (PMC) segment continued to be NBCC’s primary growth driver during Q1 FY27, contributing more than 96% of the company’s total standalone revenue.

Segment-wise performance was as follows:

  • PMC: Revenue increased 12.2% YoY to ₹1,751.50 crore from ₹1,561.74 crore.
  • Real Estate: Revenue jumped 140.8% to ₹53.90 crore from ₹22.38 crore.
  • EPC: Revenue declined 94.5% to ₹3.96 crore from ₹71.51 crore.

The strong performance of the PMC segment played a key role in the company’s overall standalone revenue growth during the quarter.

NBCC Management Commentary

K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, NBCC (India) Limited, said the company’s Q1 performance reflected the continued strength of its PMC operations.

He also highlighted the strategic importance of moving forward with the REIT SPV, describing it as a significant step towards unlocking value from the company’s real estate assets.

Auditors Highlight Key Matters

Statutory auditors D K Chhajer & Co. expressed an unmodified conclusion on the financial results. However, certain matters were highlighted in the auditors’ report.

Key emphasis matters include:

  • Naya Raipur Land: Valued at ₹2,099.37 lakh. The lease deed is yet to be executed and an extension has been requested.
  • Faridabad Land: Valued at ₹13,216.54 lakh. The conveyance deed is pending due to a Forest NOC issue. A provision of ₹1,073.66 lakh has been created.
  • NBCC Plaza: Valued at ₹4,740.61 lakh. The project is affected by an MCD demand of ₹3,224.45 lakh, with the matter under Ministry deliberation.
  • Kochi Project: Valued at ₹8,700.91 lakh. Environmental clearance is pending, and the company is approaching SEAC as per the Supreme Court’s direction.
  • Green View Project: Valued at ₹46,882.51 lakh. Reconstruction is underway due to structural defects, while a recovery suit of ₹75,000 lakh has been filed.

NBCC 66th AGM Scheduled for September 11

The company has scheduled its 66th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for September 11, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

The AGM will be conducted through video conferencing/other audio-visual means (VC/OAVM).
