New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has announced the receipt of new work orders worth approximately ₹134.27 crore, excluding GST. The contracts have been awarded in the ordinary course of business and cover educational and other infrastructure development projects across multiple states.
The new orders are expected to strengthen NBCC’s project pipeline and add to its ongoing infrastructure development activities across the country.
NBCC Receives Five New Work Orders
The newly secured contracts comprise five individual work orders, with the largest order valued at ₹37.02 crore for the construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya campus in Darbhanga, Bihar.
The projects include:
- ₹36.92 crore: Construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus at Barkatha, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.
- ₹37.02 crore: Construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus No. 3 at Darbhanga, AIIMS, Darbhanga, Bihar.
- ₹36.64 crore: Construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus at Maharajganj, Siwan, Bihar.
- ₹11.14 crore: Construction of a Centre of Excellence for DIET at Bargarh.
- ₹12.55 crore: Construction of a Canara Bank building at Alappuzha, Kerala.
Together, these five projects have a total value of approximately ₹134.27 crore, excluding GST.

Educational Infrastructure Forms Major Share of Orders
Three of the five new contracts involve the construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya school campuses, highlighting NBCC’s continued involvement in developing educational infrastructure.
The projects in Barkatha, Darbhanga and Maharajganj have a combined value of more than ₹110 crore.
The company has also secured the contract for a Centre of Excellence for the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Bargarh, further expanding its portfolio in the education infrastructure segment.
New Orders Strengthen NBCC Project Pipeline
The latest contracts add to NBCC’s ongoing project pipeline and reflect its continued engagement in infrastructure development across different regions of India.
The company is leveraging its capabilities in project management consultancy and project execution to undertake projects across sectors, including education and institutional infrastructure.
