Tanakpur, Uttarakhand: NHPC Limited’s Tanakpur Power Station has achieved a historic milestone in power generation. On August 28, 2025, the station recorded its highest-ever daily power output of 2.536 million units, surpassing its previous record of 2.535 million units set on August 18, 2023.
