NLC India Limited’s Talabira II&III Opencast Coal Mines has been recognised with five prestigious awards at the Annual Mines Safety Fortnight 2025 held at MCL, Talcher. The project secured First Prizes in key categories including Mine Operation, Safety Consciousness, and Mine Planning, reflecting its exemplary performance and strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
The awards were presented in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), underscoring the operational excellence and safety culture upheld by the Talabira project team.
