New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) held its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the NRL Centre in Guwahati, highlighting the company’s strong financial and operational performance during the financial year 2025-26 and its continued growth following its elevation to Navratna status.

The AGM was chaired by Dr. Ranjit Rath, Chairman, NRL and CMD, Oil India Limited (OIL), in the presence of Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan, Managing Director, NRL, along with directors, shareholders and senior officials.

NRL Highlights Strong Financial Performance in FY2025-26

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ranjit Rath highlighted NRL’s significant growth and strong financial performance during FY2025-26.

The company recorded a net worth of ₹18,912 crore and revenue from operations of ₹26,393 crore during the year.

NRL’s Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹3,057 crore, registering growth of more than 90%.

NRL Achieves 103% Refinery Capacity Utilisation

NRL’s refinery achieved 103% capacity utilisation during FY2025-26, marking a strong operational performance.

The company also recorded its highest-ever Motor Spirit production of 727 thousand metric tonnes (TMT) during the financial year.

The record production and capacity utilisation contributed to NRL’s strong overall operational performance and financial results.

Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project Reaches 87.1% Progress

The Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP) continued to make progress during the year.

As of the latest update, the project had achieved 87.1% physical progress, marking another important milestone in NRL’s expansion journey.

The expansion project is expected to further strengthen NRL’s refining capabilities and support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

NRL’s Growth After Navratna Status

Dr. Ranjit Rath also highlighted NRL’s elevation to Navratna status, which represents an important milestone in the company’s growth journey.

The Navratna recognition, combined with strong financial and operational performance, provides NRL with a stronger platform to pursue its future expansion and development plans.

The company continues to focus on growth, innovation and operational excellence while contributing to India’s energy requirements.

A post-AGM media briefing was also organised following the annual general meeting.
